Strategic Design Process
Initiation and Discovery
Initial meeting to discuss information about the client’s business including positioning, target market(s), features and benefits, goals, budget, etc.
Creative Strategy and Design Concepts
Develop creative strategy and design concepts for all media types showing the organization of content, arrangement of type, and style of visual elements. Present design concepts to client for review and selection. Refine selected designs.
Develop final designs and page layouts based on approved concepts. Integrate content with visual and graphic elements across all materials and media. For print, finalize specifications for paper, ink colors, and print processes. For web, finalize website layout, navigation, and functionality requirements.
Implementation and Production
Produce media and materials. Includes coordination of all services required to complete the project including copy writing and/or editing, web programming and testing, film and printing, quality checks, and others as needed.
Scheduling and Project Management
Planning, organizing, and managing tasks and resources to ensure the project is completed on time, on budget, and meets requirements. Includes estimating, scheduling, internal and client communications, progress monitoring, client reviews/approvals, and delivery coordination.
